At Glowing Town, we respect your privacy and provide you with the ability to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your interactions with our services.

This page explains how you can request deletion of personal information received or stored by Glowing Town, including information associated with interactions through Facebook and Messenger.

1. What Information May Be Stored

When you communicate with Glowing Town through Facebook Messenger or other supported Meta services, we may receive and process certain information provided through Meta's platform.

Depending on your interaction, this may include:

• Your Meta/Facebook user or platform identifier;

• Your name and available profile information;

• Your profile picture or profile picture URL, where available;

• Messages exchanged with Glowing Town;

• Images, files, or other attachments sent as part of a conversation;

• Message identifiers and conversation identifiers;

• Message timestamps;

• Message status information, such as sent, delivered, or read status;

• Message reactions and other conversation-related metadata; and

• Information necessary to provide customer support regarding products, orders, or other inquiries.

We use this information primarily to operate our customer support system, respond to customer inquiries, maintain relevant conversation history, and assist customers with Glowing Town products and services.

2. How to Request Deletion of Your Data

If you would like Glowing Town to delete personal information associated with your Facebook or Messenger interactions, you may submit a deletion request through one of our official communication channels.

When submitting your request, please clearly state:

“I would like to request deletion of my personal data associated with my Facebook/Messenger interaction with Glowing Town.”

Please provide enough information for us to identify the relevant conversation or records. For security and privacy reasons, we may need to take reasonable steps to verify that the person requesting deletion is the person associated with the relevant data.

Please do not send your Facebook password, access token, login credentials, or other sensitive authentication information. Glowing Town will never ask you to provide your Facebook password for a data deletion request.

3. What Happens After a Deletion Request

After receiving a valid and reasonably verified deletion request, Glowing Town will review the request and identify personal information associated with the requester that is held in our customer support systems.

Subject to applicable legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate retention requirements, we will delete or appropriately de-identify personal information that is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

Where relevant data has been processed by a service provider acting in connection with our services, we will handle the request in accordance with our applicable obligations and arrangements with that service provider.

4. Information That May Need to Be Retained

In certain circumstances, we may be required or permitted to retain limited information even after receiving a deletion request.

This may include information reasonably necessary to:

• comply with applicable laws or legal obligations;

• maintain legally required business, accounting, tax, or transaction records;

• prevent or investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents;

• establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;

• resolve an active transaction, payment, refund, or dispute; or

• comply with a valid request or requirement from an authorized authority.

Where retention is required, we will limit retained information to what is reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose and handle it in accordance with applicable requirements.

5. Facebook and Messenger Data

Deleting information from Glowing Town's systems does not necessarily delete information independently retained by Facebook, Messenger, Meta, or another third-party service.

If you would also like to manage or delete information stored directly by Meta, you should use the privacy, account, or data-management controls provided by Meta.

Glowing Town's deletion process applies to personal information that Glowing Town controls or is responsible for handling through its services.

6. Correction of Personal Information

If you believe personal information held by Glowing Town is inaccurate or incomplete, you may also contact us and request an appropriate correction.

We may ask for reasonable verification before making changes to information associated with a customer conversation or record.

7. No Fee for a Data Deletion Request

Glowing Town does not charge a fee merely for submitting a request to delete personal information.

Where applicable law permits limitations or exceptions to a request, we will handle the request in accordance with the applicable requirements.

8. Security and Identity Verification

We take reasonable measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Before processing certain deletion or correction requests, we may request sufficient information to reasonably verify the identity of the requester and protect customer information from unauthorized deletion.

We will never request your Facebook password as part of this process.

৩. তথ্য মুছে ফেলার অনুরোধ পাওয়ার পর কী হবে

বৈধ এবং যথাযথভাবে যাচাই করা তথ্য মুছে ফেলার অনুরোধ পাওয়ার পর Glowing Town অনুরোধটি পর্যালোচনা করবে এবং আমাদের গ্রাহক সহায়তা ব্যবস্থায় সংশ্লিষ্ট ব্যক্তির কী কী ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য রয়েছে তা শনাক্ত করবে।

প্রযোজ্য আইন, নিরাপত্তা, প্রতারণা প্রতিরোধ, বিরোধ নিষ্পত্তি অথবা অন্য কোনো বৈধ কারণে তথ্য সংরক্ষণের প্রয়োজন না থাকলে যেসব ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য সংগ্রহের উদ্দেশ্যে আর প্রয়োজন নেই সেগুলো মুছে ফেলা অথবা যথাযথভাবে পরিচয়বিহীন করার ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হবে।

আমাদের সেবা পরিচালনার সঙ্গে যুক্ত কোনো সেবা প্রদানকারী সংশ্লিষ্ট তথ্য প্রক্রিয়া করে থাকলে, প্রযোজ্য দায়বদ্ধতা ও সেই সেবা প্রদানকারীর সঙ্গে আমাদের প্রযোজ্য ব্যবস্থার ভিত্তিতে অনুরোধটি পরিচালনা করা হবে।

৪. কিছু তথ্য সংরক্ষণ করার প্রয়োজন হতে পারে

কিছু পরিস্থিতিতে তথ্য মুছে ফেলার অনুরোধ পাওয়ার পরও সীমিত কিছু তথ্য সংরক্ষণ করার প্রয়োজন বা বৈধ অনুমতি থাকতে পারে।

এর মধ্যে থাকতে পারে:

• প্রযোজ্য আইন বা আইনি বাধ্যবাধকতা অনুসরণ;

• আইন অনুযায়ী প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবসায়িক, হিসাব, কর বা লেনদেনের নথি সংরক্ষণ;

• প্রতারণা, অপব্যবহার বা নিরাপত্তাজনিত ঘটনা প্রতিরোধ বা তদন্ত;

• আইনি দাবি প্রতিষ্ঠা, প্রয়োগ বা প্রতিরক্ষা;

• চলমান লেনদেন, পেমেন্ট, অর্থ ফেরত অথবা বিরোধ নিষ্পত্তি; অথবা

• অনুমোদিত কর্তৃপক্ষের বৈধ অনুরোধ বা নির্দেশনা পালন।

তথ্য সংরক্ষণ করা প্রয়োজন হলে সংশ্লিষ্ট উদ্দেশ্যের জন্য যতটুকু যুক্তিসঙ্গতভাবে প্রয়োজন ততটুকু তথ্যই সংরক্ষণ করার চেষ্টা করা হবে এবং তা প্রযোজ্য নিয়ম অনুযায়ী পরিচালনা করা হবে।

৫. Facebook ও Messenger-এর তথ্য

Glowing Town-এর নিজস্ব ব্যবস্থা থেকে তথ্য মুছে ফেলা মানেই Facebook, Messenger, Meta অথবা অন্য কোনো স্বাধীন তৃতীয় পক্ষের কাছে থাকা তথ্যও স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে মুছে যাবে—এমন নয়।

Meta-এর কাছে সরাসরি সংরক্ষিত তথ্য নিয়ন্ত্রণ বা মুছে ফেলতে চাইলে Meta প্রদত্ত গোপনীয়তা, অ্যাকাউন্ট অথবা তথ্য ব্যবস্থাপনা সুবিধা ব্যবহার করতে হবে।

Glowing Town-এর তথ্য মুছে ফেলার প্রক্রিয়া আমাদের নিয়ন্ত্রণাধীন অথবা আমাদের সেবার মাধ্যমে পরিচালনার দায়িত্বে থাকা ব্যক্তিগত তথ্যের ক্ষেত্রে প্রযোজ্য।

৬. ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য সংশোধন

Glowing Town-এর কাছে থাকা আপনার ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য ভুল বা অসম্পূর্ণ বলে মনে হলে আমাদের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করে সংশোধনের অনুরোধ করতে পারেন।

গ্রাহকের কথোপকথন বা তথ্য পরিবর্তনের আগে নিরাপত্তার স্বার্থে আমরা যুক্তিসঙ্গত পরিচয় যাচাই করতে পারি।

৭. তথ্য মুছে ফেলার অনুরোধের জন্য কোনো ফি নেই

শুধু ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য মুছে ফেলার অনুরোধ জমা দেওয়ার জন্য Glowing Town কোনো ফি গ্রহণ করে না।

প্রযোজ্য আইনে কোনো অনুরোধের ক্ষেত্রে সীমাবদ্ধতা বা ব্যতিক্রম অনুমোদিত হলে সংশ্লিষ্ট নিয়ম অনুযায়ী অনুরোধটি পরিচালনা করা হবে।

৮. নিরাপত্তা ও পরিচয় যাচাই

অননুমোদিত প্রবেশ, পরিবর্তন, প্রকাশ অথবা ধ্বংস থেকে ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য রক্ষার জন্য আমরা যুক্তিসঙ্গত নিরাপত্তামূলক ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করি।

কিছু তথ্য মুছে ফেলা বা সংশোধনের অনুরোধ কার্যকর করার আগে অনুরোধকারীর পরিচয় যুক্তিসঙ্গতভাবে যাচাই এবং অন্য কারও তথ্য অননুমোদিতভাবে মুছে ফেলা প্রতিরোধের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় তথ্য চাইতে পারি।
